Factory 17" Wheels on 35i
Will all the X1 factory wheel options from the US Spec 28i fit on the 35i?
Looking at buying a set from a guy but my factory tires are 225/45/18. I've seen a lot of aftermarket wheels people run for winter tires, but not a lot of factory ones. I have seem 1 base model 35i, (no line) and it had 17" BMW wheels, but I don't know if that was factory or not. The wheels I'm looking at are these : https://www.autorimshop.com/17-oem-w...UaAnYXEALw_wcB BUT not from this website, it's a local sale. |

I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. But I'm eagerly watching this thread.

Depends on which 28i you are referring to. The 28i N52 has the same 348mm brake as the 35i N55 - so the 35i does NOT have bigger brakes. Just the 28i N20 has smaller brakes with 330mm.

Not exactly the same situation you’re in but I can confirm that the 17in e90 style 157 wheels fit on an x1 35i. Additionally I suggest running a 225/55/17 tire. It fits perfectly and my speedometer is only 1mph off where when I had 225/45/17s it was 4-5mph off. (Tire rack thinks it doesn’t fit for some reason though, not sure why)
