About to dyno.
I'm about to go dyno my stock 28i before I add a couple of mods. $225 seems quite steep, but there's only one decent place in Calgary that has an AWD dyno.

That's a lot of money!!! I could understand if you have big power aspirations but otherwise I don't think it's worth it. A couple more dynos and you are up over $600??? That is less money you could be spending on other things in my book.

Before putting the mods on, take it to the drag strip or use an app (IPhone, IPad, Android, whatever your preference is).
If using a drag strip, look at your trap speed. This is an indicator as to horsepower. If you trap higher, then your power went up. I doubt that you'll see a huge difference because they are bolt ons that might not increase power a bunch. If using an app, check your 0-60 times using it. It won't give you a definitive answer to how much more power that you're making, but it will tell you if it was worth the extra money or not. Just a thought. GoodLuck! |

Too late for that. But like I said, I feel some difference, just not as much as aFe claims the scorcher and intake output. Maybe half of what they claim. I'm gonna get ride of the scorcher and either piss DINAN off until he works with me, or get JB4 and have to remove it for servicing.
Edit: I would have really liked to have before and after numbers from a dyno, then I could easily return the scorcher claiming it wasn't nearly as good as they make it out to be. It would also be cool just to have some baseline numbers for my car at this altitude to see where I am in comparison to others running the N20/26.
