Atomic - we have a baby jogger city mini. It's not an umbrella stroller but it's pretty small. Just looked up your stroller - it's a running stroller so of course it's going to take up more room than a regular one. Looks like it's about 50-60% larger when folded than a normal stroller.

I'm not discounting anything you say but living with a car like this requires a certain lifestyle and/or compromises. We do both and basically cram our gear wherever there is space. Most of the time the car is used as a commuter without the baby so we are comfortable with the tradeoffs. Not sure why calling it an SAV is meaningful to anyone's decisions - the lack of space is immediately apparent upon inspection. It's basically a sporty hatchback. We are happy for what it is - a really fun to drive little car. Something had to give to produce a long hooded RWD platform car with these dimensions and obviously it was space. A lot of people bought the vehicle so it must be meeting people's expectations on that front.

If we had it to do all over again we would probably make the same decision because we only have one kid and we rarely drive her anywhere but if toting kids is job no. 1 you would be wise to look elsewhere.
