Has anyone done it?
I'm wanting to do it but can't find anything online.

Thought about it, the performance alacanta with the yellow stripe is the direct replacement, runs about $600 USD. I had it in hand, was going to swap when they did the airbag, but I wanted to keep heated steering wheel.

You loose heating and I dont think it works with paddles or be configured as such, I didn't research the paddle part since i didnt have em.

Sorry honestly dont know, thats just the part # I ordered and my local distributor handled the rest. Just make sure they have a good return policy.

I think that's the correct one, thanks!
Also I've found out that the m3 dct paddles fit on the X1. I just need to know if I need the whole assembly or just the actual paddle.

does it matter which stock steering wheel you have?
will the airbag fit with all model steering wheels?
