BMW Portable DVD Players = Hassle

Hi everyone

Word of warning before you consider purchasing the BMW Portable DVD Players that you attach to the back of the headrests.

If they wrong, the dealership has to call your whole car into the workshop to "test everything" before they replace them.

The main player stopped working. I've narrowed it down to the one player but the dealership will not replace them without bringing the whole car into the workshop becuase it's classed as a warrenty fix.

Have you heard anything so daft. The car is fine. The hint is in the name portable!

So my advice is go buy them from Curry's, Tesco Argos, infact anywhere else to save you the inconvience of being without your car and I quote "for at least an hour!"

BMW can be so thick sometimes!

I have a portable set of players made by Nextbase. They clip on behind the seats very easily and are, I think, indestructible. They have been dropped, stood on, spilt on and even survived in our luggage when we go abroad. best of all they only cost £160 at the time for a pair. Highly recommend them.
