Fault Code 3490 and grooved rotors?

Hello All,

This is about my 2013 X1 28i Xdrive

No luck with the search button on Fault Code 3490 - Any Help would be great?

Also, Rotors are badly grooved and Dealership is telling me that is normal? You guys have grooves in your rotors? I've always thought that was a sign to replace not just put on new pads.

THanks!

Yeah, I have no idea, but I would guess it is a generic code for the intake valve control?

Worth investigating.
