Garage List
Here she is:

Arrived at the dealership last night, was ready for pick-up at 11 a.m. today.

Initial impressions of the car. Looks fantastic, steering is great, M-Sport handling is very composed with minimal body roll compared to the non sport versions we drove. Acceleration is good, though not as smooth as the 6. Brakes are good but not great. Will post more when we've had some time to flog her.

My dealer says this is an absolute non runner.
Earliest the sale can happen is as soon as BMW release the vehicle to the trucking company (after inspection at the port of entry). The deal will not happen while BMW still have "possession" of the vehicle. Anyone care to comment on their experiences on this subject, as I'm sure other forum members (and lurkers) may also be facing a financial implication with expiring incentives.

Ours ordered Sep.11, production started Sep.25, completed Oct.9 and reported to be at the port waiting for a ride across the Atlantic with delivery after month end.
Bye-bye Olympic $1,000!!!

Have you called BMW directly to ask them if you can still apply the rebate since the order was placed prior to expiration? Dealers aren't always the most knowledgable source of info.

I ordered 9/22 at Beverly Hills BMW. Came out of production about 10/10 and left Bremerhaven this past Saturday the 20th on the Topeka. Expected into Port Hueneme 11/14. If I pick it up Saturday the 17th that will be exactly 8 weeks. But I have the following week off so I am fine it if takes a little longer...

resurrecting this thread....My X1 is officially off the Topeka at Port Hueneme (CA) and out of the WW cargo line's hands, into BMW's. Now it's a matter of how long till it will take to get on a truck and make a stop at Beverly Hills BMW.

Tomorrow will be 8 weeks from when I went to the dealer to place my order. So at this point it looks like I have a good chance to pick it up before Thanksgiving, but we'll see.

My car arrived on the Triton Leader on November 6th. Arrived at the dealer on November 12th and was ready for delivery on the 13th though I couldn't get over there until the 15th. The November 12th arrival date was exactly 8 weeks from when I ordered it. If the sun comes out over the weekend I'll take some pictures. I brought it home in the dark and it was been overcast ever since.

My X1 arrived today Picking it up tomorrow. I placed the order on sep. 29th so it took exactly 7 weeks from order to pickup. Not bad considering I had to wait 12 weeks for my STI to get here

I got the call from Beverly Hills BMW this afternoon. My X1 will be in early tomorrow, and should be ready for me to pick up by mid-afternoon.

So I ordered on a Saturday, 9/22. If all goes as planned, picking up on Wednesday, 11/21. Just over 8 weeks.

Will post pics soon.

I think my car was on the same boat as yours, it's in port in California. Now all that remains is to get it shipped up to Alaska!

Ordered on 10/4. Finally entered production and got a VIN today.
Not too pleased with this, of course.

Just under 9 weeks for me. I ordered Saturday 9/22. Frankly I don't remember when it went into production. It left Bremerhaven on the Topeka on 10/20 or so, made Port Hueneme Thursday 11/15 and got to Beverly Hills BMW on Wednesday. Due to a combo of low staff there to prep it and my own schedule, couldn't pick it up that day. Got it yesterday.

I'll take some pics today and post in the Photos/Colors section later.
