Coding with JB4?
So I just bought a JB4 with the data cable and was wondering if it just reads codes or if you can actually code your car with it? I want to do a few things such as:
-Folding mirrors in automatically when ignition is off/ the car is locked -Folding mirrors out automatically when ignition is on/ the doors are unlocked -Shift lights in Dash -No chiming when passenger does not wear seatbelt Just simples stuff like that. If it's not possible with JB4, what would be the simplest cheapest way to do that? Thanks in advance for any help! |

Not sure about the JB4 coding but there are a couple options... Either learn how to code this yourself (not overly difficult but time consuming), find out if there are any coders in your area, get it coded remotely, or, my personal favorite, get Carly for BMW (also known as BMWhat).
Carly for BMW is probably the easiest and most fool proof. Edit: by learn to code yourself I meant using NCS Expert and such... |
