Same basic chassis so I doubt it would be a problem.

.89% difference in height so not a big deal either.

For me the wheel width isn't so much the issue its just the arch / fender lips.

I need to chop them or something ha

I am running 235/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear on Msport suspension with H&R springs with no issues.

The struts for msport are no different than the non msport, only the springs are different.
The H&R springs with stocks struts are not the best setup... choppy, rough, under dampened and if you don't modify the bump stops very short travel in the rear.
Everyone is trying to help you make the best decision upfront so you save install costs and time in the long run. Not sure what tires you have, but none run flats would be a good choice to improve ride comfort and handling as well

That's why I'm on the forums is to get opinions on the setup and it's exactly what I said. One guy says it's fine without and one says it's not, who's to say who's right unless I try it myself. I don't have run flats, thankful for that. I can tell you, coming from a 335 xdrive into this car is a night and day difference in ride quality and they're both msport, the 335 was alot more firm.

Ride quality with H&R/Bilstein is soooo freaking good. With H&R and stock M-sport? It is good until you hit anything over small sized bumps. You will bottom hard on even medium pot holes or bumps. I have only had H&R and Eibach springs on two other vehicles. Both had crappy ride quality until I went with Koni Sport struts/shocks. X1 was no different--the H&R springs need better shocks.

Looking forward to this thread getting back on topic.

I am waiting to hear a long term report on the BC Coilovers.

I have had mine on for a couple of months now on 19" wheels 10J rear 9J front.

Only complaint I can make is tyre scrubbing on the fender but I'm working on that.

But on that note you don't need as wide wheels / spacers that I have etc. I plan on going lower too.

M Badge, really?
The people who know will laugh, the people who don't, won't care.

While I'm not a fan of the badge in the rear, and the big stripes, the M badges on the front fenders are from the factory...as are the ones on the door sills, steering wheel, etc.

So he added one more M badge on a car that already had at least 9 by my count...

Not THAT big a deal, but not my thing...

Huh, I didn't know that. That's strange and off putting at the same time.

Just like many other MSport E series cars of similar year...

This may be a silly question - but I see a lot of conversation about using Bilstein B6's on various lowering springs. Has anyone used them with stock springs? I have no interest in lowering the car, but some improved damping would be nice.

A while back I mentioned to my wife that I might be interested in the B12 kit for my birthday. Well, I'm getting it installed Thursday.

Had the B12 kit installed yesterday. My primary goal was to improve handling, not so much lowering for the sake of appearance. That said, though, I did expect it to be lowered more - only 9/16 front and 5/8 rear.

I do feel substantial difference in handling: very solid and secure doing quick lane changes at high speed, level and gripping well through the curves, very little of the discomforting lean experienced doing either of the foregoing on stock hardware. Large traffic circle nearby - did about 630 degrees pretty rapidly, felt well under control.

Was a little "hoppy"/rocking traversing consecutive seems on a bridge - caused my 1/2 cup of coffe to splash through the travel lid - never happened before.
