First Service

The service advisory popped up a couple of weeks ago advising me service due in 1,400 kms (at the time had just turned over 14,000 kms).

I called and booked in for the service on Jan 4th.

All in all a relatively painless process ... they gave me lift to work (about 15 mins from the dealership) and returned the car to me after the service was completed.

I questioned the long periods between oil changes (not due for another 15,000 kms) with the service manager and he replied that he advises a change at each service or at least every 12 months. I took his advice and got the oil and filter changed. i had no other issues apart from the gearbox hanging on to too low a gear when in DS mode (they reset the adaptive settings which appears to have fixed the issue).

The total account was just a tad under A$250 which I thought reasonable compared to previous cars I have owned. I could have reduced that by around $100 by not having the oil and filter change.

Sounds about right.

I took mine for first service last May and it was $147~.
