OEM Wheel specifications?
Hi All,
Just put in an order for a new X1 and should be picking up the car towards the end of February. I am so eager to start modding the car once I receive it, starting with the wheels. I've searched multiple forums and the internet for specifications of X1's OEM wheels. I've been able to find most of the specs, except for the most important one - the offset. Can anyone here help regarding the offset of the stock wheels? Also, anyone with any idea on what's the most aggressive offset the X1 can take? I really hope someone will be able to share this information as its imperative when ordering aftermarket wheels. Thanks in advance! |

Stock base model:
17 x 7.5J ET 34 Sport Package: 18 x 8J ET 30 Front 18 x 9J ET 41 Rear Bolts M12 x 1.5 BC 5 x 120mm However, be careful. Offset is not the only thing to make certain especially for 17". The distance between the center bore and the rim wall is critical. The X1 have fairly large brakes at the front thus 17" wheels OEM barely clear them. I bought beautiful Beyern Five wheels and they do not fit at the front despite being right on paper. Learned a lesson! |
