Where to buy ‘Genuine’ BMW rubber floor mats for X1?

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase ‘Genuine’ BMW rubber floor mats for the X1? Looked everywhere on the web and BMW UK website with no joy.

The carpet ones are getting trashed with the winter weather and I have always seen the rubber ones as a far more practical solution.

Thanks;

??? In Sweden the standard floor mats are rubber mats... If you want textile mats you have to pay €100 extra...

Do you have textile mats as standard in the UK?

My dealer here in the the UK said that the right hand drive versions were not available yet. Had a look on the web and the stuff they sell is rubbish. Ended up buying a pair of generic ones at Tesco for £17 and they work brilliantly.

Thanks Mario, This is what I had assumed, that the UK RHD rubber mats have not yet been released by BMW for the UK X1.

BMW UK being a bit slow in releasing this accessory...

I am wondering how much different they are from the 3-series ones? Maybe the UKers could test try a set of them at a dealers to see if they would work for them.

Actually I am waiting and saving up for a set of CoCoMats. I posted this on one of the other threads but look them up in Google. Absolutely brilliant. I have a set in my Mini and they are the best set of mats I have had in any car.

Garage List
2011 BMW X1 23d  [7.66]
I'd also be interested in a rubber cargo tray liner if anyone knows where to get them?

Thats a standard BMW accessory but very expensive, think its about £160 in the UK. I went for the cargo liner which is a double sided cover that folds in to cover the whole area when the seats are down. Also has a fold out sill protector. It has rubber on one side and carpet on the other.

Have a look here : http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/accessori...WDE%3D,00.html

The luggage tray is here: http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/accessori...WDE%3D,00.html

PS: Sorry the links don't work properly. Just type in luggage in the search box.

I got a set of rubber mats from Santa.

The part number is,

51 47 2 181 587,

I suspect they are for the X1 as they fit perfectly.

Don't know how much(It would be rude to ask, the outlaws gave them to me)

Mike

PS I haven't posted pic of my new X1 yet, as the weather turned just after I got it, and it hasn't really improved since, but I'm impressed by it's performance in the snow!(sorry for the thread hijack)

Hi Mike,

Interesting, are they original BMW mats? Be great if you could post some pics of them as I would like to see how they compare to the cheapies I have in at the moment. The main thing for me would be whether they trap the snow/water and keep the carpet dry.

twentyten, any chance of finding out where they were purchased from?

I've Google'd the part number and it does seem to be a genuine BMW part number for rubber mats, but thats as far as the site goes.

Thanks;

Guys,
they were bought from our local dealer, like I said I got them from my in- laws so I'm not going to ask, it be rude.

Mario, in leiu of photo's I'll describe them as typical BMW, thick durable rubber with a lip all the way round to contain any water you trail in on your feet, they also have the Velcro circles on the back of the drivers one to hold it in place.
They also come with the corresponding Velcro screws to attach to the carpet, but I didn't need them because my car already has these, as will both of yours , as the X1 comes with textile floor mats as standard in the UK.

One last thing the part Number quoted is for the front mats only, I don't know if you can get for the rear.

Thanks Mike, I will have a word with my dealer, especially since he told me that they are not available less than 3 weeks ago

Just bought a set off ebay from a bloke who got them for his 1-series but they don't fit. He says they are X1 originals so will see.

Mario looking at the BMW UK website they list All-weather floor mats under accessories and I'm sure that I saw a leaflet for them when I was last at my dealers (apologies for not getting part number)

I bought rubber mats for my LHD X1 from my local dealer. These are the part numbers on my invoice:

51472158677 - Front seats - I paid 45,38 euro (without VAT)
Google found this: See http://www.bmw-kirsch-onlineshop.de/...8e28b28803dc40

51472158679 - Back seats - I paid 22,17 euro (without VAT)
Google found this: http://www.bmw-kirsch-onlineshop.de/...8e28b28803dc40

The German website mentioned above specifies that you need specific mats for xDrive models: 51472158678, which is strange because the ones I got fit perfectly in my 23d.
See: http://www.bmw-kirsch-onlineshop.de/...8e28b28803dc40

Got the carpets I bought on EBay for £12 delivered last night. They realy are the original BMW rubber mats for a X1 in right hand drive. Will fit them tonight.
