Timing chain lawsiut help

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and I tried to explore all the forums and googalet <but no luck.
My timing chain changed a few teeth and now the car is no longer starting.
I called the dealer to ask them for an offer and they told me $ 6200 "I can't believe this is my first BMW and I'm a little cold.
Then I found this claim against BMW and I qualify for 55% compensation, because my car is 2013 86000 miles. My question is: does this still apply, because the compensation form says that it must be completed before June 2021. I also read that I can use a third party service.
I will appreciate any advice and help on this.
PS I don't know how that sounds, but English is not my first language.
Thanks .

Unfortunately, you are SOL (shite out of luck).

At this point your best option would be to work with your dealer or an independent mechanic.

I read through the notice I believe you are covered under the Prospective Repair Program portion of the Class Action Lawsuit and Settlement. Read page 5 of the following link: https://timingchainmodulesettlement....-04-095009-000

You need to bring your BMW to an authorized service center and I highly suggest you bring a printed copy of this notice along with you to the service desk.

Good luck and let us know if you are covered for a portion of the repairs!

Look at the settlement again and the final order of the court here: https://timingchainmodulesettlement....-18-171646-000

He should be covered under his situation and I would be calling BMW corporate if the dealership gave me any grief regarding the situation, along with the law offices which filed the lawsuit. This is what I would be personally doing in this situation.
