Ummm why would you need to lower the X1/SUV? That will not help for snow duty and will void your warranty anyway right?

I would never lower my X5. Would defeat the purpose of the AWD SUV. I use it for hauling shit and it sees bad weather/snow/ice duty during the winters where the M3 can't move.

OP, leave it stock height.

Good thing it's a SAV not a SUV. It's just like getting a M Sport with a lowered ride from the factory. For some of us it's just not enough. Just a different personal taste.

to that end - we bought this x1 because they dont sell an all wheel drive wagon with the 135 i motor. and we want ever thing in one package i want all wheel drive grip and carry a few people and get 27 miles to the gallon, really looks like we made the wise choise. why have two car x5 and tl when you can have all of that in one. simple bmw x1 35i m sport runs upper 12s carrys a few people good gas mileage and isnt a big box like an x5. figure that is enough for now
