Creaking doors?

Was wondering if anyone have experienced the infamous BMW creaking sounds coming from the doors in their x1? Claimed to be caused by the door seals.

Yep, I have noticed it. Seems to go away after I have driven a few miles.

Dunno, not found a solution yet . Local BMW service guy said to put some vaseline on the seals but I ain't doing that . I spend enough time getting my sons sticky fingerprints off the interior.

I still need to try a proper rubber product.

Hi.
My passenger door was also creaking. I went to the dealer and they put some kind of white Vaseline on the stretchers and door hinges. The creaking sound was gone.... However, a few weeks ago the ranger reappeared. Does anyone else suffer from this problem. How to fix it forever?

It's an assembly issue probably.
Gotone ofthe first X1s to be delivered, never had the problem (although other annoying defects appeared ... Roof seal dislodging almost as soon as I started using the sliding roof, and rear side window not going all the way up).
