cargo mat for x1?

Anyone bought a cargo mat for X1?

Weathertech doesn't manufacture them yet...and I am using cardboard boxes for now...

I see some ebay items but with not actual pictures, not sure what the quality will be...

This is the thread you want: http://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=585916, in which DUH CAR indicates that he was able to purchase the liner shown in the first photo.

Coinidentally, I went to Otto's this week to try to buy exactly one of those, but sadly they don't carry it. What they have instead is a custom-fit rigid trunk insert, having 6-inch high sides on the front, left and right. It had a ridged floor and resembled a pickup truck bed-liner in it's form and rigidity. I want something rubbery like the floor mats, with low lips on all sides, so that if I fold down the seats to carry something long, the lip won't be in the way.

So, I'm still hunting for a trunk liner / cargo mat as well.

If you want a rubber mat, look for an original BMW...that fits perfectly and looks good. I bought it for 55 Euro

It won't be in their stock, but make them look it up on the computer, get the part number and have them order it!!

Lesson learned. Do your own research and don't always believe what the guy behind the counter says.

I found the trunk liner listed on BMW's UK eBay Store (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/BMW-Direct-Store). Very cool! now why don't we have one of those here?

X1 - Fitted Luggage Compartment Mat
51-47-2-158-364
C$82.50 + tax

I thought it would be made of slightly heavier material, and it's a bit pricey for what it is (a moulded piece of plastic), but it's exactly what I wanted. I ordered it by phone, and it arrived in 2 days. It's a perfect fit.

Yeah, it's not the thickest, but all it has to do is lie there and catch the nasty stuff. Glad you got one!

Do we have the same? I think it has'nt to be much more thick, the main thing is to protect the carpet and therefor its perfect.
For the wintertime I use the car mats too.

Yep, that's the same one. Shook it out last weekend when I switched over to winter mats too!
