Every photo you see of the X1 with the black around the windows, rather than chrome, is the shadowline option.

This come standard on the Xdrive 2.5L

I guess the standard is matte finish and I chose this high gloss options - cost me extra AUD 500.
It includes the surrounds of B-Pillar, window guide, Mirror Triangle, Mirror Frame and window cavity covers (instead of Chrome this is black glossy - just wondering how this looks)

Which version of the x1 did you go for? I went the 23d and also chose the shadowline, which replaces the chrome window surrounds as you pointed out as I wanted the blackout look, rather than chrome on my black car.

I Placed order on 15th July and getting my car this week

. I am wondering how this high gloss shadowline will go with DeepSea blue coor - please upload some pics if you have received your car.

Wish I could help you mate but I only placed my order on 12 October and won't be getting my car until mid Feb at this point.
