How many miles on your X1

Got my 2013 X1 in April 2013, have 48k miles, problem free. Hoping to hit 200k.

Wow!! That is a lot of miles in 1.75 years. How many sets of tires so far? We have 8k and I noticed that there is 6/32 left on the original RF Pirellis. At this rate be lucky to see 15k miles from them. I knew they sucked ...

Wow, you'll be at 200k in no time.

I've had mine since Feb'13 and only have 9k miles on it.

Still on first set of tires, they have held up well. Drive 100 miles per day into NYC. Also have had windshield problems. It seems to be a magnet for rocks, and cracks/chips easy. I try to avoid staying behind trucks on the highway. Great car so far, hoping it stays maintenance free.

Picked it up 4/6/13 and now sits a hair under 30K. Charge pipe was replaced under warranty about two months ago due to cracking.

I changed my Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres at 50,000kms (31,000 miles). Can relate to your windscreen issue ... I've replaced 2!

I got my X1 in September, 2012. It now has about 39.5k miles on it. I use it for commuting (about 84 miles per day round trip). The HK amplifier started making a very loud static sound regardless of volume setting the second day I had the car. I read on the BMW boards this, while uncommon, has happened to other owners. My dealer promptly replaced it. Since then I've had no problems with the car. I recently replaced the OEM tires (Goodyear Eagle LS2) with Bridgestone Driveguards. They are much better than the GYs...quieter and better ride.

I have also had to replace my windshield!

Wow! that's weird. I had a 2013 X1 that I traded in on a 2015 X1. I thought the Pirelli's were awesome. I had 21,000 miles on them and still had half the tread left. I estimated at least 30 to 35 thousand miles out of them. And I drive very aggressively. I also found them to be outstanding in the snow. No need for winter tires at all. The X1 handled all snow up to about 8" with ease.

Picked my 2014 35i up a week or two after the new year. Currently just shy of 10k miles.

08/2012 - 15200 miles - xDrive 2.0d.
Usually I clock up loads of miles but since buying the X1 I've been living near and working with the same client. Typical as I bought this car as a long haul commuter with good winter abilities. Last few cars have been Z4's, a 3.0Si Coupe and then from 2009 to 2012 a Z4 M Coupe (which I did 70+k miles in during the few years - but much fun )

All the tyres on mine are shot at current milage -and being replaced over Christmas period.

2013 sDrive28, purchased late Nov 2012. Just coming on 32K miles. Having one tire checked today to hopefully repair a slow leak due to visible small screw in middle of tread. Will also get an estimate on remaining tread on others. Have the Goodyears and wouldn't mind trying non-RFTs and seeing how different the ride is. Not that the Goodyears have been bad...

Warranty expires at 4 years or 50K miles, whichever comes first, right? So I want to try and stretch out these last 18K miles and make sure I get the big maintenance items covered under warranty...Right now they show as due in October 2016...

2014 Xdrive 28i, picked up new on Sept.10th 2013. Now 19,500 miles. Average gas mileage local and highway mixed 17.8mpg. I don't know how some of you could manage 30+mpg.

I posted just above yours. My lifetime MPG as I come on 32K miles is 28mpg. I live in Los Angeles, so that's mostly city driving, but believe it or not, sometimes the freeways are open (!), and I have had a couple highway trips.

Mine is sDrive, and I rarely have a passenger. Recently I had work assignments that required me to carry heavy items, and I noticed a big dip in MPG, obviously, I guess. Also I went too long without checking tire pressure once and after a couple of below average MPG calculations after fill-up, I checked the tires and they were low (just not low enough to set off sensor).

So there could me multiple factors at play. But yeah, even with xDrive, your MPG is pretty disappointing. If you went on a pure highway run (after resetting trip calculator), stayed about 70, and didn't see at least 30mpg just for that run, I'd have the vehicle checked.

I average about 28 lifetime, about 80% highway. When I hold 70 on highway, always get around 30 mpg. When going 80, it drops to 27/28. Over 48k miles, OEM tires never rotated and have life left. They should make 55-60k.
