Someone Alpina Flash me!

Okay I give up trying to do it myself, I'm convinced my thing is locked out.

Who can point me to a person who can flash my X1?

I talked to the guy that did my 335 on site at his shop because I wanted to do the x1 and he was saying he can do it but doing it on the x1 voids the warranty.

Wtf is this about?

What is your problem, specifically. Did you follow this DIY?

http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20991

Worked for myself, and many others on here.

Is this your "guru" again? Your warranty cannot be voided, for any modification.

Beyond that, it's factory BMW programming...so the odds that they'd even realize it, or take issue with it, are reduced should you submit a trans warranty claim.

You've probably seen this thread, and the few others on here on the subject:

http://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1161740

For more reading, I suggesting the E90 forums. We're all E90 xdrive, and they tend to have a lot more info on the subject.

But again, let us know what your issue is, and perhaps we can get you through it.

I've tried everyones cables, several laptop and windows iterations, I've posted several times and all my error codes about it - no one seems to be able to figure it out or help.

I can edit coding and other things but I cannot flash the damn tranny. I used the latest software 49-59.0 for the E89+others and yadda yadda, I just cant figure it out and its driving me insane.

Anyone local wanna help too? I have beer.

I will try again one more time this weekend, but I'm seriously at a loss.

I have used Steve at http://bimmerscoding.com/
He is a great resource and very very quick.
He has a list of items that can be coded on e90's.
Loads all the software on your laptop and lets you keep everything on the laptop for any future needs or changes, he will also send a coding cable if needed. Make sure that your cable works before calling him!

Did he do your x1? I just need the alpina flash, I've done everything else myself but for some reason my TCU is locked and none of my cables or attempts can penetrate the Iron Curtain.

Glad to hear it man. I know that was a struggle.

What was the issue?

Which flash did you use?

I honestly just reinstalled everything from a fresh start and it just worked, I did nothing different. I went with teh 537 and I love it, the 335 has the 835. So much better to drive.
