BMW Portable Sat Nav
Hi
Has anyone bought the portable sat nav for the x1? Is it good? It cost in the UK £650 fitted, which is a lot. Just wondering if it's worth it. I believe the sat nav goes through the speakers. Any opinions on this? Thanks |

I do recall that there is a thread on here a few months ago of a guy that did his own installation in that cubby on the dash. Looked really good.

BMW Portable Sat Nav is basically Garmin 720 with radio antenna for traffic information and installed in quite an ugly way instead of small glove compartment in the centre of dashboard. You can buy the same or better navi and put it on the windscreen - the result will be nearly the same, you will keep a storage, you will spend your money on something worthy
