Nice lip. I actually wouldn't mind one in just plain black unpainted polyurethane.

I would be interested, pending final cost. At the current price, its a good deal. But I also don't have money for it at the moment. Lol

Garage List
If it was more showy and available for sport line cars, I'd be in. To me, it's just too plain to even bother with. Something a la Vorsteiner would be much more worth it, and I'd even pay more for it.

To be honest, Vorsteiner is also made in Taiwan and from the same factories that makes this lip for the X1. The demand for aero parts on the X1 is very low, thus no companies here in the US would source them. Vorsteiner parts are just re-branded carbon fiber parts that are all over the place in Taiwan, just with a tad better QC, since the company is paying the factories more for quality control and labor...

To me the M Sport front looks complete as it is. At the most splitters.

The rear though needs better diffuser. Could you start the talk with the manufacturer about it. Something like the 1er aftermarket m sport ?

As of now, they will only make it on the spot because they don't have a permanent mold for the diffuser as the demand is very low. Basically they use clay like materials to measure the car every time a customer walks in to have a custom diffuser to be made. They have a permanent mold for the front lip because they have gathered about 50+ interest from X1 owners in Taiwan only. Because of this, they were able to give me a rough estimate of the discounted price for the front lip. So for a diffuser to be made, more than 50+ people have to show interest in Taiwan for anything to be possible for us. As of now I am only allowed to further discuss the process in depth on the fb page listed my sig.

Agreed. I'm much more interested in a rear diffuser, though I will probably chip in on the group buy for the chin lip also.

I'm in for front cf lip. Maybe they can make a rear option with dual exhaust tips as well! For a custom exhaust or just dummy tips on the right to balance out the rear and give it a little lower look. Let us know when we can purchase...

Even though indicated for M Sport it might fit/suit other types/models.
Would it be possible to show, off car photo, showing measurements and attachment holes etc.
Looking good.

The manufacture in Taiwan have no interest making a diffuser for the X1 because unlike the 135, making a mold for the X1 would be a lot harder because of the shape and gap of the rear bumper. People who upgraded to dual exhaust are required to have their stock diffusers trimmed down. Then again a legit dual exhaust setup won't be possible because there is a washer fluid tank in the rear blocking it. However, a dummy dual exhaust is possible, where they route a dummy pipe to the right.

It happened over on the Facebook group. They said it was only going to be that run but I think if enough interest is generated they would do it later in the year I'm sure. The final cost was in the 250-350 range with shipping I believe.

The shipment of 3 or 4 lips is due to for delivery tomorrow... I'll let you know how they look and I'll try to have it mounted up asap for pictures.
They were approx $206 for the lip and then we have to split up the transportation and duty and tax fees...
