N20 Front Mount Intercooler Solution!
Whats up guys,
I managed to solve the FMIC problem for the N20 E84's. Glad to Confirm E90 Series Chassis FMIC for the N54/N55 are direct bolt on for the N20 in the E84. Ive installed a 5 Inch Mishimoto FMIC and a Racing dynamics charge and boost pipe. took 3 hours end to end and it all bolts up without issue! Now were not forced to pay crazy prices for FMIC spec'd just for the E84. Good luck!

Hey I'm the guy from FB asking about intercoolers. Glad I found you here.
Do you notice any addtl turbo lag or less power down low? I'm strongly considering doing this to my X1. |

Boost is more consistent throughout the rpm range. Definitely dropped iat's but 15-20 degrees average. The n20 just feels a lot better with the tune / down pipes and larger IC.
