X1 Max AC

Have you ever seen anything like the power behind the blower in X1 on full blast? Holy Cow!

It's pretty powerful. I usually hit the Max button and then just turn the fan down a couple clicks.

I've heard some complaints about the AC in the X1. Mine works great. I put a thermometer in the vent and was reading around 40-42 degrees. And that was on a pretty hot day.

I believe Max AC also disables ASS.

The a/c in the X1 is by far the best I've ever experienced in any car (both in quietness and temperature). I've had a few VAG products and this is head and shoulders above them.

The X1's AC is far louder than the Evoque's, but more powerful too. But you don't get cold air blown at your lap, which could be a plus or a minus, depending on how you look at it..

I also wish that the X1 had cooled seats.. at least as an option... the leather gets sticky and hot in the north carolina summers...

Best car AC I ever had was in my 1981 Ford Mustang. That car sucked big time but the AC rocked. Unfortunately you had to turn it off to have enough power to merge onto the freeway.

The x1 AC works pretty well. We've been near 100 here and the car is comfortable after about five minutes.

I think BMW forces you into a 5 series, X5 or above to get perforated leather.
