Steering Wheel Scraping Sound

Yesterday morning the steering wheel suddenly has scaraping sound when you turn it in either direction. Sound coming directly from wheel, not under hood. Nothing got in there, I am the only driver. Any ideas?

Could be the cold temp causing contraction of the plastic housing but should have your dealer check it.

Have them check it out when you get your windshield replaced.

Im not sure if it's the same thing but it happened to me twice on a single driving instance, both when I was making a sharp turn...I just thought it was the wheels "scraping" the snow that built up under the fender or behind the front bumper
