Rusty hinge pins

Is anyone else noticing the hinge pins on their doors getting rusty? I'm referring to the silvery/aluminum looking torx headed pin on each of the door hinges. I had one replaced on the driver side rear door and am noticing some rust forming on the others. This is on a 2014. I've never seen this on my past BMWs (or any car, really).

I have some slight rust there on my 2012 and was wondering if I can grease it or something to protect it.

My 13 is starting to look a little rusty there, yep. I should probably do something about it.

Clean and grease really well. Then cover with a cheap plastic cover from eBay or Alibaba so it looks nice
