I just ordered my X1 X Line with jet black exterior and terra leather interior. I went with the dark copper high gloss trim on the inside instead of upgrading to the fineline wood trim (because I thought the wood trim on the model at the dealer was OK but not great). But, I haven't actually seen the dark copper trim on a vehicle, so I'm wondering if I made the right choice. Has anyone seen the dark copper trim with the terra leather? Is it a better choice vs upgrading to the wood trim? Please let me know what you think.

I just picked up my X1 X-Line with the dark copper and it looks awesome, didn't want to spend the money for the wood trim instead spend it on the chrome trim and aluminum rails. My opinion the dark copper is a good choice.

It would be nice to see some pics of the copper trim.
Blast BMW for making the trim choices exclusive to the lines. The mat wood trim, which I did see in person, is beautiful! But since it's exclusive, I had to settle for the fineline wood trim, which is gloss. |

+1 matter of preference both very nice looking. I like the gloss (and not paying for the bs line) Actually I would get sport line for the wheels and seats but you can't pair wood with it. Make mine a sport line with terra and either wood and I'd be very happy. I think if wood were included in x-line (it absolutely should for 1900 of what again?) I'd go for it to get terra, but another 500 for wood, na bite me. This whole line thing is a real PITA.

If you want to see Terra with wood go on the BMW of Columbia, SC website and they have some interior shots on their dark blue X1 with Terra.
