Finally picked her up!
After waiting for several months, finally picked up my X1 a couple days ago in China. As many of you might know, they actually started manufacturing X1 in China March of this year (along with Li versions of 3 & 5 series). However, my guy was able to find an imported 20i for me and sold it to me for the same price as a Chinese Manufactured version!
Anyways, its Alpine White on Black (one of main reasons I went with imported version, as Chinese version only has the ugly beige for interiors). I've got sooo many mods coming soon that I can't wait to put on! Here are some pics when I picked her up. Already put on CF badges Last edited by aznpxdd; 07-14-2012 at 10:28 PM.. |

Haha those aren't license plates, just place holders to advertise for the stupid dealer. Already took them off waiting for the real plates... Gonna install LUX H8 LED Angel Eyes later today, will post pics once they are installed! |

LUX H8 Angel Eyes installed
Wasn't too hard, found a Chinese DIY on installing the lights and followed it just fine. I thought the instructions provided by LUX on their site to be very lackluster... Got some hand-cuts on my hand installing them as well, there was sooo little space for the right headlight especially if you have larger hands. |

Got some goodies in today!
Matte black performance grille Exhaust tips (installed it right away, sorry for shitty pic) Also debadged the sides of "XDrive 20i", and blacked out my X1 badge. Also ordered some 20mm spacers + extended lugs today. Can't wait to install them along with my wheels. Last edited by aznpxdd; 07-30-2012 at 10:12 PM.. |

I bought them from the famous Chinese site "Taobao", you can pretty much find anything on there.
http://s.taobao.com/search?q=%8C%9A%...obaoz_20120731 Its all in Chinese and I don't know if they ship worldwide or not. But the grilles were approximately $90 USD after some bargaining. Also got my 4x20mm spacers + extended lug bolts today! Last edited by aznpxdd; 07-30-2012 at 09:59 PM.. |

Wheels are finally on
Only got 1 OK picture of them on the car. Going on a business trip tomorrow and will take more when I'm back. edit: nvm, took some quick pics after work. 19x8 ET45, with 20mm spacers all around, essentially ET25. Tires are Dunlop DZ101 235/35/19 all around. Last edited by aznpxdd; 08-02-2012 at 06:06 AM.. |

Thanks!
Still trying to figure out how to install the grilles. Took a look at the thread in the DIY and still unsure. I wished there was a way to remove the grilles without messing with the front bumper. |

Its OEM.
I ordered some H&R Springs yesterday, should be here in a week, can't wait! In the meantime, I asked my friend to drop my car via photoshop. Looks pretty sweet I must say! |

First X1 in Michigan
Dealership stated my wife was the first to purchase/be driving X1 in Michigan! We don't get as many comments or random outbursts from excited strangers as we did when driving around the Z4, but the X1 is an absolutely sweet ride.
Wife was torn between getting white or black...went with black as usual which I prefer as well. Your white X1 looks great though, especially with the mods. |

Looking good mate. Looks perfect. Btw, is it hard to use the CF vinyl on the front bumper? I want to use CF vinyl for my front bumper (like yours), but not sure if its easy or hard to do. Please let me know any tips and tricks. Cheers
