Sport Seat Retrofit

I've been driving my '13 X1 35i for almost a year now. I enjoy everything about the car except for two things; non-sport suspension and non-sport seats. I am putting in some Bilstein HD's when it warms up, so that should help suspension

My question is can I swap out my regular seat assemblies for sport or are there potential complications? I know that the entire assemblies are different, but I imagine I can unbolt my current seats and bolt on the new ones no prob.

I will probably get the sport seats from a salvage vehicle. Anyone have any better (cheaper) suggestions? Better yet, does anyone have BMW X1 sport seats they are trying to get rid of? Would anyone like my current seats (for a fair price)?

Thanks!

If you need any pictures of the sport seats connectors let me know. You can pry the seats from my cold dead hands, best part of the car imho.

Great idea. The comfort seats are anything but. I had the sport seats in my 135i and they were the most comfortable seats of any car that I have ever owned. Good luck in your quest and great choice.

Sports seats in my X1 are the first that I could adjust to fit me perfectly. They are sooooo worth it.

I've had the same thought myself. I can live with the regular seats, but may well look to go this route sometime down the road.
