Adaptive Cruise Control?

I have checked the owners manual and searched the forum, but I can not find any reference to Adaptive Cruise Control. The question I have is simple, what is it and how does it work? I think I know the answer but I figured I'd ask the experts.

Adaptive cruise control usually refers to cruise control being able to sense a car ahead and adjust speed accordingly. We don't have that in the X1.

Did you mean Dynamic Cruise Control? ie. adjusting speed with the cruise control stalk?
