Dealer quotes?

I'm a serious buyer looking to lease a 2014/2015 X1, MSRP $37,045. I'm in CT, and am looking for a 36 month lease with 10K per year and $2500 total out of pocket at inception.

If any dealers would be interested in providing me an e-mail with your best quote for that lease, I'd be appreciative. I have top credit scores, and am a current lessee of a 2013 X3, if that matters.

Thanks.

I suggest you go look at the 2 Series thread, there is a dealer (Steve Thomas BMW) that is giving the best quotes and can have your car shipped anywhere. They are based in California but can have it shipped to a local dealer. The thread is under 2 Series pricing. I may get a quote from them if I get a 2 Series but the can order any BMW.

Not to question your judgement, but why would you put money down on a lease? Have you done any lease calculations to figure out what you should be paying? Have you looked into what people are actually paying for the X1 (invoice pricing), and made calculations accordingly? Perhaps do the math, take your number to any of your local dealerships and ask who wants your business. On your terms, based on the research and calculations you do. You can find MF, residual, invoice, etc etc on the web. Have you figured out what incentives you qualify for (turn key, loyalty, usaa, bmwcca). I don't think there is pull ahead on the X3, but might be. When does that lease expire? Did you check with the dealership or SA that you leased it from?

Thanks for questioning my judgment. Actually, I have done all of the above. I don't care about any "pull ahead", since I am looking to add this car, not to replace my X3 (that is my wife's car). I assume that once I get a dealer, I'll ask for all the details. I worked with my local dealer, but did not get a satifactory result. I've leased about 30 cars over my lifetime, and am quite familiar with the math that goes into a lease. I put the $2500 down number solely for the purpose of being sure to take care of any initial fees and having a fixed base of comparison. As you know, any number in the lease can then be adjusted/negotiated.

BTW, I am a CPA/tax accountant by trade...

i ordered my x1 last night and am going to lease as well.

if you didn't already, look into multiple security deposits. you can put money down now and get it all back at the end. you're kinda loaning bmw the money for 3 years, but your ROI is pretty good when you look at how much it lowers your payments.

i put 4 dealers against each other and had them fight for my business. i think i got a pretty good deal.

now i just read the thread about the 2015 coming out soon and I'm second guessing that i should have waited....ugh

I took delivery of my X1 in December, and the numbers were very similar. I was not a current BMW lease customer, so I did not qualify for the extra $500 incentive for current BMW customers. Given that difference, here were the numbers from my lease:

MSRP $37, 225
36 month lease, 10k miles per year
Total due at inception - $2800 (included first month payment, sales tax, registration fees, dealer paperwork fee & BMW Financial bank fee)
$360/month

I'm in New Jersey, and the registration fee is about $300, but covers us for 5 years. So depending on any differences in CT registration fees, your numbers should be better than mine just because of the extra $500 incentive, and plus your car is $180 less expensive as well. So if you put down $2500, your monthly payment should be less than $350.

Also, I ordered my car, so if you are looking at one already on the lot, you may do even a little better.
