yeah, I got the ceramic type for my RX8 at about $77 for set by running the product number on the net, and checking suppliers.

its probably not pad to rotor issue but pad to piston/caliper/clip issue. there is some good salty corrosion there on the rear. Clean it all up and grease with anti squeal. Then rebed them really well.... I wouldnt buy pads until they are done.

I'm at about 30K so no work needed yet. Here is where I buy some of the repair parts for my Porsche https://www.fcpeuro.com/ , http://www.pelicanparts.com/

Just shop around as prices and shipping cost vary.

Disassemble and reassemble, what he said. This will fix it.

The rotors are in perfect (visual) condition, no need to re-bed, and the pads look meaty.

Any chance I can get this done at the dealer under my 2 year maintenance plan? You know, the bmw one that covers oil changes, wipers, etc?

It's 14* out, and I'd rather not freeze.

Speaking of the corrosion, I am a bit upset this car doesn't seem to be holding up very well. It seems like parts are already rusting....

90k mostly highway, maintenance minder says 3200 miles left. Are the pads easy to swap out?

They aren't hard. They are just like any other brake pad.

90k miles. Wow.

I'd love to see a photo of those 90k miles pads! How are the rotors?

But FCP is the place to go, because it's lifetime replacement!
