Dash USB

I had loaded my music onto the HD via the USB in the glove box. After reading this post, I loaded it all onto a tiny thumb drive and put it into the USB on the console, now I'm getting art work and all of the information on the track. Thanks for the discussion.

Does the stereo in the X1 recognize volume tags? Or does one have to volume equalize each file?

I believe the glove box USB does not support anything other than importing music. It's not available as an additional port for general music playing. I would have greatly loved to stash my iPod in the glove box.

UPDATE

It seems that my previous atempts with 64 and a 128 gb I tried before were in fact ExFAT not FAT32.

The 128Gb Belongs to a friend of mine and I couldn't reformat the drive but the 64 was reformated using the software that I mentioned in the other thread and works just fine.
I am under the impression that the reading speed from the flash drive matters, however Kingston Traveler seems to work faster than a New Patriot that I bought.

Some USB drives come with FAT32 so those should be just fine.
