Partition Net

One of the biggest disappointments was discovering a partition net was not an option on the 2014 X1 28i xdrive M-sport. Is it even available in the US on any trim levels? I have found all the parts on Ebay.de. No Worldwide shipping! Any thought on how to obtain this for my new Bimmer.

I think he’s referring to a cargo area net that attaches to the back of the rear seats. The net prevents small objects from sliding around. It’s an accessory, not an option. Accessories are ordered at a dealer’s parts dept. Ask the parts person if its available.

I thought he meant pet barrier.

It's been referred to as a partition net, pet barrier, or even a luggage compartment barrier. It's meant to lock into the rear seats in folded down position and then latch above in brackets in the headliner. It looks more like a screen then a net. I speak and read enough German to know it's an option in most countries. No one will ship both parts to the USA as far as I can tell so far.

The picture "nospam" provided only works with the rear seats in up position and sections off a small area in the back; that is considered a pet barrier. I am looking for a pet barrier and might have to modify the lower part of the partition net I discovered, (see provided pictures). If I can get them! In the US owners manual one can find a picture of it installed. Page 120 paper back and 117 in a PDF manual.
