X1 E84 bluetooth issues

Hi all,
Just bought a 2013 25d with Navigation etc. The bluetooth won't pair correctly. I say correctly because the phone says its paired and I can make calls from the phone (Android - Note 20 Ultra) using the cars speakers, but if I try to call from the car, it says no phone connected. Very odd.
Any suggestions? I've tried numerous times to pair.

Android connectivity issues seem to vary by phone. When I got my X1 back on April 21, my phone was a Motorola G8. Media player was able to connect and play music but it would not relate track info. As for the phone, it could only be used to answer/end calls.

After that, I got a Google Nexus 5A running Android 12. Now I have almost all the functions of the Audio Player and the telephone including contact info, redial and received calls.
