Hi, do the cross bars of a F48/49 fit the E84? Do cross bars from an X3 fit the E84? Many thanks!

I don't think so. See realoem.com for part number x-ref.

I took my Rola racks from my E84 and had to widen the feet slightly to fit on my G02 X4, but the feet were adjustable. A fixed bar wouldn't have fitted.
But the grip profile on the rail is the same.
