2014 X1 Longevity

Hi, I have a 2014 X1 4WD
I have about 90,000 miles and contemplating a trade in, but we love the car and have minimal problems over the years.
Can anyone help with expected longevity and what we might expect to go wrong over the next 20K miles or so.
Are there issues typically with Transmission, timing belt, a/c unit etc.Looking for possible catastrophic
Assume spark plugs should be changed at 100K , any other major services that I should do if I keep the car.

Thank you for your help!

Stan

Like any BMWs, I do not see why well maintained ones will not last long. X1 is a simple model by comparison to the rest of the BMW line-up. If it's a 5-series and up models, the electronic gremlins are a major contribution to issues. There is nothing bleeding edge with this model.
Our 2014 x28i @116k km has been a reliable family hauler for many years. It does daily school/work duties to road trips. Only major repair was thermostat at 75k km that I performed myself.

Being a smaller I4 in a chassis designed for bigger I6, the engine bay allows for ample space for self maintenance. Just make sure your replace fluids in a timely manner.

My X1 has been very reliable so far. Bought it with 132k kms (bad engine), I put a used engine in with new timing chains and guides and we are at 150k kms.

Spark plugs should be replaced way sooner than 100k, I do mine every 30-40.
