What is the real invoice on this car?

Trying to figure out if I'm being screwed over - dealer is claiming different invoice than bmwconfig is:

2014 X1 35i M sport

premium paint: $550
M sport : $2500
Ultimate Package: $4750
19 in wheels: $600
Heated seats: $500
Destination Charge: $925

$48425 MSRP, dealer claiming invoice is $45864 which seems high to me. BMW Config claiming invoice is around $44,900.

Any opinions?

Edmunds.com lists invoice and MSRP. From my experience it's pretty accurate. You might want to check there. (they show invoice for your options at $44,535)

Dealers claiming higher invoice number is typical. Just use Edmunds invoice number as mentioned.

The difference between the invoices is very close. I wouldn't think too much about it if you really like your dealership. Moreover, dealer profit margin is too less now-a-days.

I just got a quote for a near fully loaded X1 35i at a shade over $44k. Their quote was even less than BMW Config. I think their was loyalty cash pulling the price down.

Truecar.com will also provide "invoice" for vehicles and options, plus it will give you a competitive price for your particular market. True dealer cost after hold-back, advertising allowances and other incentives will vary depending on a number of factors including dealer volume, quota performance, etc.
