Much cheaper than the other ones from Aliexpress, I wonder how well they would work with LED H7s, I hate my X1 does not have angel eyes after having them on my 335. Hopefully someone will jump on these and try them first!

The only problem I see with these lights is that it is for left and righthand drive vehicles, so no step ie.
_____,-------,------

If you understand my graphic above.
Putting HID bulbs in these might be less desirable.

Is that step just for lowering the angle of the light for incoming traffic? I never understood why it was there :-/

Yes, for right hand drive is is on the other side.
So, I assume the only way it would work for both is all flat without steps.

Unless one is stepped one way and the other is stepped the other way? So you would get something like ____,-----,____

But maybe I'm too optimistic on the engineering quality of knock off headlights :-)

Unfortunately it cannot work like that because the high part will bleed over the other lights low☹️

are those compatible with halogen wire and harness? no error codes? plug and play? the last thing you want is to swap those out and mess up your warranty...etc.

According to the vendor you need to do some coding if you have DRL enabled on high beam.
I had to do the same with mine.
Wireing should not require any change.

I really want to put this on and test it out but it will probably void the warranty...a huge trade off. It would be nice if vendor can show videos of how to get these on as there aren't many people who have done it.

As long as you put the stock lights back on and reset any faults I'm not sure the dealer would have any way of knowing.

I can't imagine what could go wrong with replacing the lights, the worst that can happen is a total short, and that will blow the fuse.
If you get electrical problems they might try to pin it on your changes.
It is the same as getting engine problems they wiil try to pin it on your mods, JB4 etc.
I am not worried.

These look just like the ones I got from Ali last year, which I am still in love with. Same brand - Depo, only much cheaper. I used BMWhat to program the coronas to be my DRL and turned off the low beam voltage monitor so there are no "Bulb Out" lights on the dash. Have not had any issues.

I assume you could remove the resistors after turning off voltage monitor.
