Rear lights?

Hi All

I've owned an x1 for about three months and have started to wonder if the rear lights are working properly. Question? When the lights are on should they also be on in the tail gate section as well as the section on the main body?

Any Picts would help

I think only the LEDs that come with the Xenon option will cover the entire area. If I'm correct the inner area are the fogs with standard option.

So without Xenon the inner taillights are not illuminated.
