The new FIRST/MUST HAVE MOD!!!!!

HI Guys,
So I've had my car for just about a year now and have done all the basic performance and aesthetic interior and exterior stuff...the car has been a pleasure to drive. Little did I know that I was missing out on the single-most best improvement in daily driveability. That is, in fact, the Split Armrest!!!!!

Oh my god, everybody seriously needs to buy one of these TODAY!!!

The one thing I absolutely hated about my car was the OEM armrest...the lack of cushion, the downward sloping angle, the slipperyness, and the fact it doesn't go forward enough for me to rest my elbow on the armrest while shifting. Everyone else who drove my car complained about it as well...

I had always wanted the split armrest, but the sticker shock kept me away. $155 for the "Imitation Leather" (which I got), and $260 for the real leather. In my opinion, the imitation leather looks and feels much nicer than the imitation leather on the seats, so it could blend well with the real leather too!

Last week I took the plunge and bought it from Tischer...it came today and within 5 minutes I felt a new pleasure in driving my 335....Everything about the ergonomics is improved. It's angled horizontally, it has stickier leather(ette), and most importantly, the drivers side slides forward plenty. Another fun thing is that the spring lets it come up and down nice.

Seriously, everyone needs to drive a car with one of these, and you'll be hooked immediately! Like WOW!

Understood, I was just messing. I just personally don't believe a comfort mod like that should be a MUST HAVE MOD or FIRST MOD.

Well think of it this way...you use it every single time you drive. It has made a very significant improvement in driver comfort, and if you're putting on 15k miles/year, it absolutely is worth the money.

In my opinion, if I were to do it all over again, this would be MY first mod hands down.

Well, its up to the driver and what he/she wants. People that are performance oriented will obviously want to get a juice box or similar as their first most, as that is used everyday and makes it more fun for them. Thats the way I see it, I would rather focus on performance rather than comfort. However someone thats interested more in comfort would like the seat armest thingy. To each his own, I'm just saying some people won't want this as their first mod.

Group Buy?

Sorry I didn't go Gintani for my 328i, but I figured if I start doing serious performance mods to a E90 it should be a N54.
