Daytime running front side lights

My X1 has standard Halogen headlight bulbs and a 501 filament bulb for sidelight (non-halo ring).

I've got some 501 led bulbs to replace the standard filament.

Although I run with the lights set on Auto, the front sidelights are not on until the sensor deems the daylight is low.

Is there a mod to have the led front sidelights on during the day as if a halo or can this to be done by coding.

Yes it should be possible to code it with NCSExpert.
I coded Halo rings and fogs for daytime and when it got dark, it switched to low beams.
Worked like this when the switch was always set on AUTO. So I never had to touch it.

Pretty sure you can enable the sidelights too.
