400 Km of pure Joy ...

Hi guys, I drove over 400 km this weekend with the family onboard. USB connectivity helped the entire family to enjoy their favorite music, the panoramic sunroof was a real joy, feeling the sun on my neck ... My daughter was counting the stars on the way back ...

The car is well balanced, the acceleration without any hesitation, the power overwhelming ... I'm very pleased with this BMW for sure. I had the opportunity to play with the paddles and go through gears is a charm !

I can't wait to find a new itinary and take the family for another trip. Thank's to BMW for this great and really fun vehicle.

Maybe I could get a tatoo " BMW X1 4 life " ?? just kidding

And by the way, 8.9 l/100 km for the ride. 115-130 Km/h average (it's hard not to be overlimit !!!)

Have a nice ride everybody !!!! Life's good !!!

Yes, the sport pkg, premium pkg and the light pkg.

Thoose were the options I sensed were required to add "joy" to the ride.

I'm really pleased as you can read

Is great to see you are enjoying your car so much. Mine is similar to yours and while I love it with the M package and the sports ride is gives my only grief is the choice of wheels I made, being those 18" (225 45 on front 255 40 on rear) because I am in constant fear to get a bulge on my tires! Maybe I have to get used to those kind of tires.

Hi Insoc,

I think it's important to 'sit back and enjoy the ride', and don't be in fear of what might never happen. I took the road hazard protection on my wife's X1 tires and wheels and this gives us great assurance - if there is a problem like you mentioned, they will replace the tire. I have a 550i GT as well and I have had to replace two of the run-flat tires, but this was due to screws embedded in the tires (not sure how they got there since I'm never near a construction site?? - maybe a jealous Mercedes owner ), but BMW just replaced the tires (and even one wheel) all included in the road hazard protection. Perhaps you should look into this for some additional driving 'piece of mind'...

Just check a recent thread "New Owner" few days ago ... You'll see my X1 deap sea blue with light, sport and premium pkg.

here's the link: http://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=606607

We awaken this morning with snow !!! Tomorrow, exit the 18" wheels and welcome the Genuine Alloy Wheel 17" Star-Spoke 317. Curious to see the look of my X1 with those wheels. Should be nice ... I hope !

Will post some pics for sure :- ))) Pics !!!!! Love to see different X1 with different pkg and modifs.
