Coders in Fort Worth / Dallas area

Any good coders in he DFW area? Looking to have a few things changed on my X1 ...

And not to a dead horse, is there any code changes that can get the speedo a little bit more accurate?

Yes, there are two items that can be coded. You can get a digital speedometer in the center digital display area, and that is allegedly pretty accurate. You can also have the analog speedometer changed via coding to represent true speed. Call me silly, or call me wary, but at this point in my life, keeping my driving record ticket free, without changing my instinct about driving 10-15 miles "over the limit" was more important than getting the true speed... I know it's really just a placebo, but it does seem to work for me, so I left that one alone. But, I do know the option is available.

I'm almost in the same boat, but I like accuracy - plus, here in Texas, if I am driving by the speedo I'm 5+ under the speed limit, which in the DFW metroplex will get you run over. But I would like to have a better idea of how fast I'm going so I can be in that zone between not getting ran over and not getting pulled over ....

Mighty I am in DFW but haven't coded my X1 yet, I would definitely be interested in your experience though. There used to be 2 other guys in the North Dallas area, where I am, that frequented this forum. But I would suggest posting on the 3-Series forums since the critical mass is higher there.

Dan - once I get something going, let's get together. I've coded VWs before, but they are hella easier than the Bimmer looks to be. I'll check the 3 series forums as well ... thanks!
