Code 2096

Been getting this stubborn code for two months now, and it usually triggers a Service engine soon light. I checked for vaccum leaks, and couldn't find any. I'm wondering if it could be the HPFP? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

3 months ago, I did spark plugs, air filter, and a whole bunch of maintenance stuff. I've looked for any vacuum leaks, and no luck. I have an N20.

not sure if I can offer assistance. I've hear of bad MAF causing this issue or maybe it's an injector issue. Perhaps you can put in some Techron fuel system cleaner and hit the highway to see if it goes away but again I'm just guessing

I've tried Techron fuel system cleaner several times, so I know it's not that. Yes, could be MAF. My code reader might not read BMW specific codes, so Anyone know of a BMW specific code reader from the X1?

I just ordered the FOXWELL NT510.

I had been searching for one for a while and this thread made me renew that.

Why not get iCarly, it works great for reading and clearing codes.
And you can do coding as a bonus.
