Nav Prof

Hi.

I miss speed cam alert and displayed speed limit when using my nav.
Is this not supported on the maps, or can they be activated somewhere?

Bad news i afraid, The Prof Nav in the X1s (new zealand models at least) are next to hopeless, there are no options such as male, female voice, and other "standard" features that my basic Tom Tom has. its a NZ$6000 rip off

But without that wide screen display on your dash, the car would look very low rent....

agree on the look... Thats why I chose the navi. Think the idrive controller and the screen makes the interior look very much better that with the glove compartment... But as you say, its only one female voice, and I cant find any option like speed limit or speedcam... besides from that im satisfied with the navigation system.

Mmm, not sure. I prefer the cubby. My Garmin sat nav is waaaay better than the built in one. And when it's a few years old it goes in the bin and I get a new one.

IMHO the money is better spent on the full seat options and leather....costs the same.

Just my opinion though.
