Those with Aftermarket wheels please come inside!

I wanted to start to compile a list of options from those who have already upgraded their X1's with aftermarket wheels.

My hope is that this thread will a become helpful resource for those of us who are considering different options for aftermarket wheels and want to know what they would look like on the car.

For those who have aftermarket wheels on their X1, could you please post a picture or two of your car and briefly detail the specs: wheel size/width, tire sizes, offsets, wheel spacer size if used, etc.

Thanks

Thanks to both of you for contributing. For HBWT, do you have any specs that you can share with us on those wheels?

From another thread but reposted here for consolidated reference:

If you're not interested in rolling fenders/fender trim tabs, getting friendly with the dremmel on those fender trim pieces, or gently persuading fenders liners to take a modified shape with a heat gun etc, then a setup similar to mine isn't advisable. That's not to say it was a particularly difficult task, it's just obviously not in everyone's comfort zone massaging body pieces to make wheels and tires fit properly. If that is your "bag", then good on you.....my setup certainly isn't at the limit of possibilities if you're inclined to push things a little further.

I like relatively aggressive but still day to day usable wheel fitments. I didn't really buy the X1 as an SUV but more of a wagon, hence the direction it's going. Despite the odd path for an SUV, reactions to it have been overwhelmingly positive.....after the initial "WTH is that" type questions of course

Bright Satin Silver. They are darker than they appear on the website...at least according to MY monitor.

Does anyone know what is the stock 18x8" front rim and 18x9" rear rim offset in the staggered setup?

Posted before and here you go again:

Breyton Race GTS Matte Grey

Front:
19x8.5
Offset: 30mm

Rear:
19x9.5
Offset: +35mm

Tires:
255/40/19

Front tires rub the inner fender a little bit in tight turn, clear for suspension. Rear has no issue. I believe 245/40/19 would be totally fine.

They are very nice indeed, however, I was asking what the BMW STOCK wheel offsets are so I can compare with the aftermarket wheels I'm researching.

I've seen offsets from 30 to 42 on 18x8/18x9 and 19x8/19x9. I want to know how much different that is from a stock setup?

Style 355M specs are 18x8 +30 front, 18x9 +41 rear if I remember rightly.

Endless Details,

Definitely post up some pictures when you have the time. It would be interesting to see how et14 front wheels look.
