Comfort Access - Car Washing
When washing your car quick at a self serve car wash, is there any way to disable the door handle comfort access locking and unlocking?
Naturally I'd leave the keys in the car but I only have one set and I have no idea if the doors will lock with the key inside the car vs outside... don't really feel like testing that. Any ideas? |

I've tried to lock the car multiple times thinking the key was in my pocket when it was actually in the car. It never locked.
Depending on your car, you can call BMW to unlock it if it ever happens. |

I don't know about having the key in the front, but I know you cannot lock it in if it is the back. A couple of times upon leaving the gym my key has been in my backpack and I always throw it in the hatch. When I close the hatch it beeps at me a few times to tell me the key is not supposed to be there.

I think it's something like $500 from the dealer. Not sure you'd be able to do it yourself, and definitely not much cheaper given the equipment required for it.
