Angry "I dont belive it"

Just purchased some "touch up pens" to dot out a stone chip at a cost £21 for 1 x12mls,Bronze and 1X12mls clear.
This must be the most expensive paint on earth.
Incidentally after I purchased it ,I was told 2 cans are nearly the same price !!

Similar price in Aust. AUD$50 inc. tax and $6.75 delivery as I live 500Km's from dealer.
I only used paint to dab in hole, don't know how to use other. Scared to leave set mess on car. BMW not to helpful on how to apply.
Hugh cost on accessories here.

Try the Langka approach. I've found that the clear touch-up is nearly useless.

I have found to just accept chips as a cost of driving and only repair those that go thru the primer, so as to stop rust...the DIY approach can be difficult to achieve excellent results...I've tried the Dr Colorchip and it is only adequate.

Of course, depends on the color, but darks & metallics are harder to repair

Best to leave the touch ups just before you are ready to private sell, otherwise not worth it.

Of course, if you are OCD, all bets are off...

I found this guy on Ebay - he has good reviews for what that's worth - who sells touchup paint (no clear coat) for 11.99. Perhaps a guy who does body work and sells the excess? For the small gouge I have from a rock (on the bumper), I'm going to give it a try for 11.99 delivered. http://r.ebay.com/1OjARk Maybe there are other sources for paint like this?
