Tesla is the most overrated car the world has ever seen. Can't believe how so many fall for it.

What he meant to say is that the LFA is the most over rated car ever, his fingers just hit the wrong keys.

Perhaps, but it has one of the best sounding engines in the world.

Yea, lets see how many other 100% electric cars on the market can do the exact same thing the Tesla does.......

Neither am I. In every drag race we have seen, the P85D always gets the jump, even against supercars. The RS7 launches quick, but no ICE can match the instantaneous torque of electric motors.

It's an impressive car but the fanboys get out of hand. People comparing it to the GTR and even some proper super cars (and that hellcat video where the Challenger just does a massive burnout and people then claiming the Tesla is faster, I mean come on), it's just a bit absurd. But I think it's because it attracts a lot of people who aren't car people, so you're going to get those kinds of absurd comparisons. I think it's a great car, but as many owners have reported it is far from perfect and no where near the "second coming of Jesus" hype surrounding it.

I think the car is pretty awesome. There aren't many (any) seven seaters with its ability.

Only way to compare the P85D to any super car or whatever is only by the 0-60. Everything else is null and void.

I only compare to other 100% electric cars, nothing else and in that sense of mind, Tesla is destroying the electric car competition.

That guy in the P85D botched the launch. Either way, an RS7 probably would've caught up to it eventually.

I'd like to see how fast the Tesla is after 20 launches compared to any other car.

It can't even finish a lap on the N-Ring.

If no German or Japanese build anything like the Tesla it is because they know it is crap and doesn't work with today's tech. But rich people buy crap at the expense of the tax payer.

Lol this comment reeks of elitism. Toyota uses Tesla batteries in their Rav 4 EV and BMW embraces EV tech in their i3. VW has the Golf-E, Audi has e-Tron. Electric cars aren't unchartered territory for Germany or Japan, I just think you have a deep seated hatred about a company you seem to know very little about.

And a Tesla isn't mean to set the worlds fastest time on a track or road course. Its just an electric car that is able to go further than any other electric car ever could dream of going at this time.

They didn't set out to make an 100% electric luxury sports car to beat up Porsche's or Lambo's or Vettes at the track/road course but to show what the future of electric cars will and can do. Going further on a single charge while letting people charge for free at charging stations and have some nice creature comforts.

Toyota Rav4 EV was a failure it didn't sell. Now Toyota even has to recall those cars because of Tesla issues. BMW doesn't need Tesla, they could build better than that, but there is no market for such cars. Proof is the latest decision of German government. You speak in favour of the Tesla, but wouldn't change you M5 for it. That tells a lot about how "good" that Telsa crap is.

So I can't speak on behalf of a company without owning their cars? There is no market for EV cars? Lol I was merely pointing out that your unsubstantiated blanket statement
"If no German or Japanese build anything like the Tesla it is because they know it is crap and doesn't work with today's tech"

was hypocritical and clearly European and Japanese manufacturers have and will invest in this so called "crap" battery tech or at least hybridize their vehicles with them. I just don't understand your specific aggravation with Tesla or what exactly makes them "shit"

If I could afford a Tesla as a second car, I'd buy one in a second. You have to be honest here, what is not to love about the car? I am faaaaaar from a fan of Musk and what that company has had to do so far to survive, but it's impossible for you to honestly not marvel at the tech.

It's a gorgeous car, with incredible acceleration and I've yet to read a bad review about one. The more I read about it and hear from owners, the more I'd like to own one. I doubt that day will ever come, but I do appreciate the car itself.
