Brake fluid light
My 2014 X1 brake fluid light came on and said service soon, just once. After I shut car off and restarted has not come on since. Car has only 16,300 miles. Taking in for an oil change next week, should I have brake fluid changed?

There should be a service indicator for brake fluid. You can access that via the BC button or iDrive (if equipped).
Finally if you can't remember when you had your brake fluid changed.... do it. I am skeptical having dealership performing this. Many of them simply replace the fluid in the reservoir as opposed to proper flush via brake lines. |

58k miles, brake fluid light coming on. Fluid change due, but I'd like to wait for 3 mos. and get new tires. Will this delay cause any warning light running problems, or just an annoyance?
